DASHAIN CELEBRATION DECODING

(A person who you respect, occasionally your parents and elders in blood relation or related with marriage or other formal emotions chant this mantra as a blessing for you and put tika on your forehead as a symbol of victory during holy Dashain festival. Dashain in Hindu traditions is the moment of victory of truth over untrue. The mantra for every gender is assigned differently. Which is heavily  based on uniqueness, specialties and competitive advantages the nature allocated of each gender so as to build perfect societies with social harmony in place)

WHY DASHAIN:

Navaratri means nine consecutive nights. It is celebrated for nine days. The motherhood ability of every female is considered a god-gifted miracle and accepted as a representation of a god. And thus named Devine Mother. Devine’s mother is also called Devi. Devi has three forms. Kali, Laxmi and Saraswati. First three days of Navaratri,  we worship Kali who removes all evil tendencies from our brain. For the next three days, we worship for Laxmi who seeds the goodness in our life. For and last three days we worship Saraswoti who bestows knowledge.

During Dashain, Hindu mainly celebrated the killing of demons (asura) Madhu (मधु) & Kaitabha (कैटभ),  Mahishasura (महिषासुर) and Sumbha (शुम्भ) & Nishumbha (निशुम्भ) as the sign of victory.  The twin types Madhu and Kaitabha grow on greasy dirt (mind and waste) and works towards damaging good health while inhibiting the ability to acquire knowledge. Madhu and Kaitabha were right killed by Madhusudan (मधुसूदन) another name of Vishnu (विष्णु). Vishnu is considered as preserver and protector (like provides food and medicine) and works towards restoring energy, synergy, harmony and balancing good and evils.

Mahishasura is also a divine feminine force (buffalo shakti) that can change its shape, size and all the time works against the immune system leading to damage to physical, mental and spiritual health. Devi Durga right killed Mahishasura. Durga is considered an immune power generator as protection, strength, motherhood, destruction and wars. Two brothers Sumbha and Nishumbha are also the divine force that works forcefully against mutual love, respect, ethics, rule of law, positive vibes and harmony. Always against family life as well as social relations disruptions negatively. Sumbha and Nishumbha were right killed by Devi Saraswati.

The tenth day is celebrated as victory day called Vijaya Dashami. Actually going through those nine days,  psychologically we have overcome all negative vibes and have already acquired positive vibes. Going through Navaratri, we actually acquire the ability to celebrate happy healthy life that generates eternal joys, satisfaction and safety. We celebrate victory to acknowledge and celebrate our positive vibe.

Word’s Meaning: To Devine mother Chamunde (Devi Chamunde another name of Parvati i.e. Aadim transgender shakti fighting against health, natural and evil disasters), the destroyer of evil forces (Jaya Bhutartiharini), available for us everywhere (Jaya Sarvagate Devi) all the time, also during the dark night (i.e. at difficult times beyond the time and time of no knowledge – the Kalaratri referring to Aadim Shakti i.e. third gender Shiva-Shakti), you as living representative of Aadim Shakti deserve to praise publicly (Jaya Tvam) with prostrations (Sasthang Dandawat Pranam i.e. Namostute).

Word’s Meaning:  Devine mother, you are Jayanti (Ever Victorious), Mangala (Provides Success), Kali (who is beyond time and removes evil tendencies from the brain), Bhadrakali (Who controls Life and Death), Kapalini (Who wears garland, i.e. mala of skulls. Where the mala of skulls represent the continuous creation cycle of birth and death), Durga (Mother of Goodness), Shiva (Source of Every Success), Kshama (Source of love and granting excuse), Dhatri (Supporters of all living beings), Swaha (Final receiver of sacrificial obligations to god) and Swadha (Final receiver of sacrificial duties to Manes, i.e. sprits or soul of dead ancestors).
